. , AMENDMENT NO. 2 AGREEMENT FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR � SOUTH ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK Whereas, the CITY OF DECATUR, hereinafter referred to as the "OWNER" and BAINBRIDGE, GEE, MILANSKI & ASSOCIATES, INC., hereinafter referred to as the "ENGINEER'', entered into an Agreement for engineering services dated April 2, 2001, hereinafter referred to as the "ORINGINAL AGREEMENT,'' and Whereas the scope of the original agreement was for the siting and design of a new water tower, and Whereas the OWNER now wishes to develop a single zone of higher water pressure to be served by the proposed new water tower, and Whereas the operation of the proposed pressure zone requires the use of a water pressure booster pumping station and isolation valves in the distribution system that must be sited and designed, NOW THEREFORE, the ORIGINAL AGREEMENT is hereby amended as follows: 1. Add to the PROJECT description a new water pressure booster pumping station with pumps valves, and electrical controls. 2. Add the following to the paragraph 1. under "THE ENGINEERS AGREES": j. Meet with the CITY staff to discuss the purposed booster pumping station, pumping capacity, benefits, related equipment, and site selection. k. Prepare detailed construction drawings, specification and contract bidding documents for a new water pressure booster pumping station with power feed and control system. l. Prepare detailed construction drawings, specitication and contract bidding documents for ne�v distribution isolation valves. m. Modify and resubmit the Project Plan to IEPA for review in accordance with the requirements of the State Revolving Loan program. 3. Add the following paragraph to paragraph 2. under`'THE CITY AGREES": "The total compensation for services 1 j through 1 m listed under "THE ENGINEER AGREES", shall not exceed $85,000.00.
