The 2006 International Building Code <br /> 2. The 2006 International Mechanical Code <br /> 3. The 2006 International Fuel Gas Code <br /> 4. The 2006 Internationarl Property Maintenance Code <br /> 5. The 2006 International Fire Code <br /> These Codes are recognized under City Code Chapters 67, 68, 70, and 44 respectively. <br /> BACKGROUND: The building code is used for construction of commercial buildings; <br /> the mechanical and fuel gas codes are used for installation of heating, air conditioning, <br /> and refrigeration systems; property maintenance code is used for condition of existing <br /> buildings; and the fire code is used for fire prevention. All new codes will replace older <br /> versions currently being used.
