Perry, Purchasing Superviso�,� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for mini dump truck <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Jackson Ford, '� <br /> Inc. to furnish one (1) 2007 Ford F450 crew cab diesel powered mini dump truck with snow '� <br /> plow. <br /> BACKGROUND: This equipment will be used by the Forestry division and will replace a 1997 <br /> Ford F250 super duty currently in service. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Forestry requested the replacement and Fleet <br /> Maintenance wrote the bid specifications. Both recommend approval of bid. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Steve Swanson, Engineering and Infrastructure Director 424-2747. <br /> Tom Serfass, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor 875-5718. Steve will be at the council meeting to <br /> answer any questions the council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $4�,681.90 from Equipment Replacement Fund. <br />
