Berard, Civil Engineer II �'�� <br /> SUBJECT: Agreement with Hanson Professional Services, Inc. to perform 2006 I <br /> Annual Dam Inspections on Lake Decatur Dam and Dredging Sediment i� <br /> Storage Facility in Oakley Township <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: I' <br /> It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached resolution authorizing ' <br /> an agreement with Hanson Professional Services, Inc., (Hanson), to conduct the Lake Decatur <br /> Dam and Sediment Basin Dam 2006 Annual Inspection for a fee not to exceed $7,750.00. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> The Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Office of Water Resources, requires an annual <br /> inspection and report submittal prepared by a qualified licensed engineer for the Lake Decatur <br /> Dam and Dredging Sediment Storage facility in Oakley Township. Hanson Professional <br /> Services, Inc. submitted a proposal to conduct an inspection of the facilities and to prepare the <br /> inspection reports for a fee not to exceed $7,750. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Department of Water Management. <br />
