Generally, any of these holidays which fall on a <br /> Sunday is celebrated on the following Monday. This then makes work <br /> performed on that Monday payable at the appropriate overtime rate for <br /> holiday pay. Common practice in a given local may alter certain days <br /> of celebration such as the day after Thanksgiving for Veterans Day. <br /> If in doubt, please check with IDOL. <br /> Oil and chip resealing (O&C) means the application of road oils and <br /> liquid asphalt to coat an existing road surface, followed by <br /> application of aggregate chips or gravel to coated surface, and <br /> subsequent rolling of material to seal the surface. <br /> EXPLANATION OF CLASSES <br /> ASBESTOS - GENERAL - removal of asbestos material/mold and hazardous <br /> materials from any place in a building, including mechanical systems <br /> where those mechanical systems are to be removed. This includes the <br /> removal of asbestos materials/mold and hazardous materials from <br /> ductwork or pipes in a building when the building is to be demolished <br /> at the time or at some close future date. <br /> ASBESTOS - MECHANICAL - removal of asbestos material from mechanical <br /> systems, such as pipes, ducts, and boilers, where the mechanical <br /> systems are to remain. <br /> CERAMIC TILE FINISHER, MARBLE FINISHER, TERRAZZO FINISHER <br /> Assisting, helping or supporting the tile, marble and terrazzo <br /> mechanic by performing their historic and traditional work assignments <br /> required to complete the proper installation of the work covered by <br />
