Bragg, ssistant City Manager <br /> Greg G Crowe, Economic Developmen Coordina� <br /> SUBJECT: Transfer House Exterior Renovation <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the attached professional <br /> services agreement with Farnsworth Group to develop construction and bidding documents for the <br /> exterior renovation of the Transfer House. The proposal includes identifying historically accurate <br /> items to include in the renovation to restore the Transfer House to the period of 1896-1904. The <br /> agreement will not exceed $28,000. <br /> BACKGROUND: Farnsworth Group conducted a feasibility study that evaluated the potential of <br /> moving the Transfer House to its original location at Lincoln Square. A structural/architectural <br /> evaluation was included in the feasibility study. The study found that the building is structurally , <br /> sound. However, a number of restoration items were identified in order to bring the Transfer House <br /> back to its architectural significance.
