PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The project is described as follows: <br /> Televised pipeline inspection/survey of 250,OOQ L.F. of sanitarylstorm sewers ranging in <br /> size from 8"to 96°in diameter. <br /> This Professianal Service Agreement is for two years,with options for one additianal <br /> year. The initial year is for the Fiscal Year of 2006-2007. <br /> B. SCOPE <br /> Services to be provided f�r the Project are as follows: <br /> TELEVISED PIPELINE INSPECTIONlSURVEY <br /> 1. A color television camera capable of insertion into 100% humidity conditions will <br /> be used on this project. The camera head is capable of panning 270°and tilting <br /> 360°and the iris, focus and light source are all remote controlled in order to look <br /> direcNy at problem areas, as well as up service connections. The camera will be <br /> transported through the lines on a remote contralled transporter at approximately <br /> 30 feet per minute, stopping at problem areas to insure proper logging of data. <br /> 2. A video tape recorder in VHS format or video CD/DVD format will be used to <br /> observe and record features and conditions that will assist in the evatuation df <br /> the data collected and become�part of the final report. <br /> 3. Tra�ic control and protection fvr the project shall be in accordance with I.D.O.T. <br /> Highway Standard 701606.01. Daytime operations are praposed for the work. <br /> MANHOLE INVESTIGATION <br /> 1. A physicaUvisual investigation of each manhole using all necessary safety <br /> equipment. The investigation will inctude obtaining all data required to evaluate <br /> each manhole for structural integrity, inflow/infiltration problems, flow <br /> charactea'istics and environmental conditions. Including all necessary dimensions <br /> for the purpose of making detailed drawings. <br /> SMOKE TESTING <br /> 1. Insertion of an in�r#type smoke bomb of three-minute duration into manholes by <br /> means of a 3000-cfm or larger blower. Logging of data including color photos of <br /> locations or smoke observed. <br /> 2 <br />
