Perry, Purchasing Supervisor� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for bucket truck <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Dueco, Inc. to <br /> furnish one (1) 2006 Terex Utilities XT55 single axle truck chassis with 60' aerial boom and chip <br /> dump box. <br /> BACKGROUND: This truck will be used by the Forestry Division. It will replace a 1998 <br /> International 4900 aerial bucket truck that was totaled in a recent accident. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: I�1one <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Bucket truck was requested by the Forestry Division. <br /> Fleet maintenance wrote the bid specifications. Both recommend approval of bid. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Tom Serfass, Fleet Supervisor 875-5718, Randy Callison, City <br /> Forester 875-4820. Steve Swanson will be at the council meeting to answer questions the <br /> council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $125,689 from the Equipment Replacement Fund. <br />
