, � ,� <br /> < ^ . <br /> � ■ � <br /> : : ■ <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> made as of the 15th day of November in the year of 2005. <br /> BETVUEEN the Client: City of Decatur <br /> #1 Gary K.Anderson Plaza <br />' Decatur, IL 62523 <br /> and the Architect: BLDD Architects, Inc. <br /> 100 Merchant Street <br /> Decatur, IL 62523 <br /> For the following Project: Ciry Council Chamber Remodeling at the Decatur Civic Center, Decatur, IL <br /> BLDD Project No.051089.400 <br /> Description of the services to be provided: <br /> The BLDD Team will conduct meetings and prepare documents for the purpose of identifying acceptable concepts for <br /> the remodeling of the current City Council Chamber located on the third floor of the Decatur Civic Center. <br /> The services wiil include: <br /> 1. Preparation of drawings and program information as study documents. <br /> 2. BLDD will lead work sessions with those who frequently use the current City Council Chamber. Including, <br /> but not limited to,the current City Council members, Civic Center Staff,the Media who attend council <br /> meetings,T.V.Journalists,and the General Public. The items to be included in the redesign are: <br /> • Better lighting and ability to control lighting, <br /> • Integration of technology for computer power point presentations and accommodate laptops. <br /> • Better acoustics. <br /> • Better accessibility for all populations. <br /> • Better sight lines. <br /> • Better control of the existing heating and cooling, if this is possible <br /> • New finishes carpet, paint,wall treatments and ceilings and new furniture. <br /> 3. Using the information that we have accumulated, BLDD will prepare drawings illustrating various concepts to <br /> show the options. Each option will identify the probable cost for that specific option. We will present the <br /> options,get feedback from the Council and the City,make revisions as required and come back with the <br /> revisions.
