The City Plan Commission voted 6-0 to recommend approval of this petition at the <br /> November 3, 2005 hearing; the minutes of the meeting are attached. <br /> BACKGROUND: John and Dianne Sanner are petitioning to vacate the utility easement on the west <br /> ten (10) feet of Lot 26 to construct a new garage. The petition by Dane C. Bragg, Assistant City <br /> Manager is to vacate the utility easement on the west ten (10) feet of the remaining lots. The utility <br /> companies are not utilizing the platted easement and have approved of the partial release of the <br /> easement. Lot One (1) of Country Club Estates (on East Cantrell Street) will retain an easement for <br /> utility access and is not part of the vacation request. � <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: N/A <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There were no objectors to the petition at the Plan Commission <br /> meeting. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Any additional questions may be forwarded to Greg Crowe at 424-2725 or at <br /> gccrowe(a�decaturnet.org. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: No compensation is required for the easement vacation. <br />
