ORDINANCE NO. 2005-100 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 52 -ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section 4 and Section 7 of Chapter 52 of the City Code of the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same are hereby, modified and amended, so that said Section 4 and <br /> Section 7, as so modified and amended, shall provide as follows: <br /> 4. LICENSE CLASSIFICATIONS. <br /> Class E, under which the licensee may only be the State or a department, agency, <br /> or instrumentality thereof, or a unit of local government, and alcoholic liquor may <br /> be sold only for consuxnption on the licensed premises, or on other premises <br /> owned by a licensed unit of local government if at a specific, non-continuous <br /> event such as a wedding reception, private party or charity benefit, or a <br /> sport/athletic tournament not to exceed a three day consecutive period; or to a <br /> licensed food service company contracted for a period of five years or more with <br /> an institution of higher learning accredited through the Higher Learning <br /> Commission of NCA(a commission of the North Central Association of Colleges <br /> and Schools) for use at said accredited institution and only for purposes related to <br /> theatre and cultural events of the accredited institution of higher learning; and for <br /> wherever or however said licensed or other premises are situated or however <br /> classified for zoning purposes within the City. <br />
