As part of the Mound Center subdivision, the sanitary sewer and watermain were relocated to <br /> facilitate development on the site. The utility easements for the previous location of the <br /> sanitary sewer and watermain need to be vacated. <br /> 2. The sanitary sewer and watermain for the site have already been replaced and new easements <br /> have been dedicated. <br /> STAFF ANALYSIS <br /> 1. The property is owned by the City,therefore appraisals are not required. <br /> STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Since the existing utilities have been replaced with like services, staff is of the opinion that <br /> the best interests of the City of Decatur would be served by approving the request to vacate <br /> the easement as indicated on the plat. Staff recommends approval of the petition. <br />
