The certificate of authentication on any Bond shall be deemed to have been executed <br /> by it if signed by an authorized officer of the Bond Registrar,but it shall not be necessary that the <br /> same officer sign the certificate of authentication on all of the Bonds issued hereunder. <br /> >::>::;::�:::<>»::>. ... ..................;;:.;:.;:. <br /> ;:;;:;::��t�'�;:;:�' :.;;'':;''t���. (a) Optional Redemption. Those of the Bonds due <br /> on or after December 15, 2012, are subject to redemption prior to maturity at the option of the <br /> City, from any available funds, in whole or in part, on any date on or after December 15, 201 l, <br /> and if in part, in any order of ma.turity as selected by the City, and if less than an entire maturity, <br /> in integral multiples of$5,000, selected by lot by the Bond Registrar as hereinafter provided, at a <br /> redemption price of par plus accrued interest to the date fixed for redemption. <br /> (b) Mandatory Redemption. No further Action for a Mandatory Redemption. For a mandatory <br /> redemption, the Bond Registrar shall proceed to redeem Term Bonds without any further <br /> order or direction from the City whatsoever. <br /> B. Optional Redemption. The City shall, at least 30 days prior to a <br /> redemption date (unless a shorter time period shall be satisfactory to the Bond Registrar), <br /> notify the Bond Registrar of such redemption date of the Bonds to be redeemed. <br /> C. Selection of Bonds within a Maturity. For purposes of any redemption of <br /> less than all of the Bonds, the particular Bonds or portions of Bonds to be redeemed shall <br /> be selected by lot by the Bond Registrar for the Bonds by such method of lottery as the <br /> Bond Registrar shall deem fair and appropriate;provided, that such lottery shall provide <br /> -xiw <br />
