. r�• <br /> a <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2005-66 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTION <br /> - WILLIAM STREET AND WITT STREET - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, the driver of a <br /> vehicle on Witt Street approaching William Street from the north or south shall stop and yield the <br /> right-of-way to vehicles on William Street which have entered the intersection of said streets or <br /> which are approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but said driver <br /> having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of <br /> this Ordinance sha.11, upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than <br /> Two Hundred Dollars($200.00) for each offense. <br /> Section 3. That Ordinance No. 3724 be, and is hereby, repealed.
