Neufe d, irector of Financial Management ��� <br /> SUBJECT: Appropriation Ordinance for Fiscal Year 2005-2006 <br /> Attached is the Appropriation Ordinance for fiscal year ending April 30, 2006 for Council <br /> authorization. This was made available for public inspection on July 7, 2005. <br /> Requested additions and/or reductions to the budget: <br /> General Fund (10) ' <br /> Non Departmental $60,000 Transfer $50,000 to Neighborhood <br /> Improvements Commission Fund as <br /> per City Council action on 6/20/05, <br /> as well as $5,000 each for Decatur <br /> Celebration and Arts Festival. <br /> Economic Development & Planning ($36,200) To correct the budget and move <br /> one half of the long range planner <br /> salary & benefits to the Water Fund. <br /> Police Department $29,700 To provide for additional overtime <br /> resulting from the Farm Progress <br /> Show. <br /> Urban Forestry $45,000 Provide funds to control the birds ; <br /> in the downtown area ($15,000) and ', <br /> to maintain boulevard at Cardwell '� <br /> Crossing ($30,000) per agreement. ', <br /> Total General Fund $98,500 II <br />
