, � , � <br /> ► <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2005-39 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ALL WAY STOP INTERSECTION <br /> - SUNSET AVENUE AND DENNIS AVENUE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the intersection of Sunset Avenue and Dennis Avenue in the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, designated and established as a all-way stop <br /> intersection. <br /> Section 2. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, vehicular traffic <br /> approaching said intersection from any direction, shall stop and after having stopped, shall yield <br /> the right-of-way to any vehicle which has entered the intersection from another direction or which <br /> is approaching so closely on the roadway as to constitute an immediate hazard during the time <br /> when said vehicle is moving across or within the intersection, and thereafter having so stopped <br /> and so yielded, may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than <br /> Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. <br />
