Ne , Director of Financial Management <br /> SUBJECT: Supplemental Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2004-20 5 <br /> Attached are five supplemental appropriations for fiscal year 2004-2005, for funding <br /> received or required after the passage of the Appropriation Ordinance, approved July 19, 2004. ��I <br /> Domestic Violence Grant - Fund 28 - No money was appropriated even though there was �'I <br /> a carryover of funds and additional funds were received in the current year. <br /> Police Grant - 2002-04 - Fund 29 - This supplemental appropriates the funds carried over <br /> from the previous fiscal year. <br /> Police Grant 2004-06 - Fund 38 - These grant funds were received after the appropriation <br /> ordinance was passed. <br /> Self Insurance Fund - Fund 65 - Due to higher than expected claims it is necessary to <br /> increase the appropriation amount. Departmental transfers have covered the increase. <br /> Mass Transit Funds - Funds 70 & 74 - Appropriation has increased due to increases in <br /> operating expenses and the increase in claims under the self insurance fund. <br />
