Mr. Coleman is handicapped and shares a driveway with <br /> his neighbor at 1625 North Union Street. The driveways do split off but access from the <br /> street and between the houses is a shared drive. The concern for Mr. Coleman is that at <br /> times access to his drive is blocked by the neighbors or people that are visiting his � <br /> neighbors. ! <br /> April Veteto suggested that Mr. Coleman speak with his neighbor about not blocking the I�I <br /> drive. Todd Walker asked if there was on street parking on North Union. Newelt <br /> responded that on street parking is allowed on North Union. Bauer suggested placing a <br /> handicapped si n in the drivewa . Walker res onded a si n in the drivewa would not <br /> 9 Y P 9 Y <br /> be enforceable since it would be on private property and it would also block the shared <br /> driveway. <br /> Staff recommends approval of the request for a handicapped parking space in front of <br /> 1611 North Union Street. <br /> It was moved and seconded (Harris / Veteto) to follow staff recommendation. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br />
