GILEAD ROAD - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of Central Baptist Church requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: That part of Government Lot 2 of the Northwest quarter of Fractional Section 3, Township 15 North, Range 2 East of the 3`� P.M., Macon County, Illinois, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northwest quarter of said Section 3, thence N. 89°59'20" W.668.65 feet along the North line of the North- west quarter of said Section 3 to the point of beginning; thence S.0°13'28" W. 873.99 feet; thence N.89° 44'21"W—248.86 feet to a point on the Northerly right of way line of F.A. Route 412; thence N. 61° 50'S9"W.-455.53 feet along said right of way line to a point on the Easterly right of way line of US Route 51; thence N.0°12'48"E.-618.20 feet along said right of way line; thence N. 73°34'23"E.-125.37 feet along said right of way line; thence N.1°06'30"E.-4.40 feet along said right of way line to a point on the North line of the Northwest quarter of said Section 3; thence 5.89°59'20"E.-531.28 feet along said North line to the point of beginning. Situated in Macon County, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required.
