Excerpts from Plan Commission Meeting of July 1, 2004 <br /> Cal. No. 04-32 Petition of JAMES R.AND JANICE A. HARPER, <br /> to rezone the premises at 2778, 2788 and 2798 North <br /> Twenty-second Street from R-2 Single Family Residence <br /> District to B-2 Commercial District. i <br /> Ms. Joselyn Stewart was sworn in by Ms. Jesse. <br /> Ms. Stewart gave the following recommendation of staff. <br /> This petition was heard at the last Plan Commission meeting on June 3, 2004 where it '' <br /> was approved on a vote of 9-1. <br /> The current proposal contains 1.81 acres (78,741 square feet). Lots Two (2) and Three I <br /> (3) are currently vacant and undeveloped while Lot One (1) contains a single family I, <br /> residence on the site. <br /> The petitioner proposes to rezone three lots totaling 1.81 acres, to B-2 Commercial <br /> District. The petitioner has indicated the property will be used for a used automobile <br /> sales business, paving the lot to hold 20-30 cars and office and a garage. Access to the <br /> property is planned from North 22nd Street. <br /> Staff recommends approval of the petition with the following condition: a site plan will <br /> be submitted to and approved by the Engineering and Infrastructure Department and the <br /> Economic and Urban Development Department prior to any development on the site. <br /> Ms. Lynn Hermann, representative for the petitioner,was sworn in by Ms. Jesse. <br /> Ms. Hermann stated she was with the real estate company of Markwell-Weatherford and <br /> stated that nothing has changed since the last time she spoke with the Plan Commission. <br /> There were no objectors present. <br /> It was moved and seconded (Smith/Dunn)to forward Cal. No. 04-32 to the City Council <br /> with the recommendation for approval as submitted by petitioner. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br />
