♦ <br /> r r <br /> �, . <br /> � , , <br /> � , . <br /> � + <br /> LEASE <br /> ,,,,_�/ <br /> THIS AGREEMENT made as of the �day of December, 2005, <br /> between the Decatur Public Building Commission, Macon County, Illinois, a <br /> municipal corporation (Commission), as Lessor, and the City of Decatur, <br /> Macon County, Illinois, a municipality and a home rule unit under the <br /> provisions of the Illinois Constitution of 1970 (City), as Lessee. <br /> In consideration of the rents reserved hereunder, and the promises and <br /> the covenants herein made by each of the parties hereto, and for other good <br /> and valuable consideration, it is convenanted and agreed by the parties hereto <br /> as follows: <br /> SECTION I. Lease Terms and Rentals <br /> In consideration of the rents reserved and the covenants, agreements <br /> and other terms and conditions herein provided to be kept, observed and <br /> performed by the City, the Commission does hereby lease to the City those i <br /> portions of the Law Enforcement Center located on Block 7 of South Addition <br /> to Decatur, as per plat recorded in Book G, page 553 of the records in the <br /> Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, street address 333 South Franklin <br /> Street, Decatur, Illinois, allocated to the City's use as specified on Exhibit A <br /> attached hereto. <br /> B. The term of this Lease shall begin on April 1, 2006, and end <br /> November 30, 2007. The rent for the period from April 1, 2006, through <br /> November 30, 2006, shall be Two Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Seven <br /> Hundred Twenty-four pollars ($225,724) to be paid as follows: The <br /> Commission shall pay from the City of Decatur's Law Enforcement Surplus <br /> Account Fifty-three Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-nine and 13/100ths <br /> Dollars ($53,299.13) and from the Commission's General Fund One Hundred <br />
