Perry, Purchasing Supervisor d� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for sport utility vehicles <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Rogers <br /> Chevrolet to furnish two (2) 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer sport utility vehicles. <br /> BACKGROUND: These SUVs will be used in Engineering and Infrastructure and Water <br /> Management. They will replace 1995 Ford Taurus cunently in use. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Equipment was requested by E & I and Water <br /> Management. Fleet Maintenance wrote the bid specifications. All recommend approval of bid. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Phil Wilhelm, ti1SC Manager 87�-4820. Tom Serfass, Fleet <br /> Supervisor 87�-5718. Tom Serfass will be at the council meeting to answer questions council <br /> may have about this purchase. <br /> BtiDGET: $43,13�.00 from the Equipment Replacement Fund. <br />
