RESOLUTION NO. R2005-179 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DONATION OF RIGHT OF WAY FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES Whereas,the City of Decatur, a Municipal Corporation, is the fee owner of the following described property located on FA Route 710 (US Route 51) Section SOR, County of Macon: A part of the North Half (N 1/2) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 34, Township 17 North, Range 2 East, of the Third Principal Meridian, Macon County, Illinois, said part described as follows: Beginning at a Point, Said Point being the Intersection of the South Line of Said North Half (N 1/2) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter(NE 1/4) of Section 34, Township 17 North, Range 2 East, of the Third Principal Meridian with the West Right of Way Line of FA Route 710 (US Route 51), Said Point also being 60.28 Feet Left of the Centerline Station of FA Route 710, Station 86+09.24; thence North 89 Degrees 59 Minutes 52 Seconds West (Assumed Bearing) along the Said South Line of the North Half (N 1/2) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 34, 7.73 Feet; Thence North O1 Degrees 21 Minutes 38 Seconds East, 569.73 Feet to a Point on the Said West Right-of-way Line of FA Route 710; Thence South 50 Degrees 28 Minutes 07 Seconds East along Said West Right-of-way Line of FA Route 710, 8.94 Feet; Thence South O1 Degrees 17 Minutes 25 Seconds West along the said West Right-of-way Line of FA Route 710, 564.02 Feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 0.0960 Acres, More or Less. Whereas, the State of Illinois desires to acquire the above described premises for use of the Department of Transportation for highway purposes has made an offer of One Dollar ($1.00) for the above described property; and, Whereas, it is the desire of the City of Decatur to sell the above described premises.
