Perry, Purchasing Superviso� {� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for Pothole Patching Machine <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Prairie <br /> International to furnish a 2006 single axle 7400 4 x ? Intemational chassis with a Pro-Patch TCM <br /> �2�-120-DI pothole patching machine. <br /> BACKGROUND: This equipment will be used by the Street Division for filling potholes. It <br /> will replace a 1997 Patchmaster machine currently in use. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Equipment requested by the Street Division. Fleet <br /> maintenance wrote the bid specifications. All recommend approval of the bid. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Phil Wilhelm, MSC manager 87�-4820, Tom Serfass, Fleet <br /> Supervisor 87�-5718. Steve Swanson will be at the council meetin� to answer questions the <br /> council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $106,7�9 from the Equipment Replacement Fund. <br />
