This proposal is
cavsrucr,on, based on taking 110 - 31-feet deep soil borings. 110 borings should be an
OUAClTYCONrROI adequate number of borings for most of the proposed sites. Our proposal is
SOlLS/MA7ERlALS based on 31-feet deep borings, because it is our understand+ng that this
TESTING site is to become a permanent storage facility with bermed walls at least 16-
feet tall. Additionally, we have included a lump sum of $5,000 to provide a
Geotechnical Report for two (2) mobilization sites.
Our proposal includes providing soil boring logs and laboratory analysis of
split-spoon samples taken at each boring. It also includes laboratory time
to conduct additional tests such as shear strength, proctor and
consolidation tests. From this information we will prepare a report with
recommendations for the construction of the storage basin and the
mobilization sites. Our proposal also includes time to attend monthly
meetings throughout the project and prepare for and participate in public
forums.
We estimate the geotechnical investigation and report will take
approximately two (2) months to complete. If you have any questions about
this proposal, please contact Sharon Samuelson or me. We look forward to
working with you on this project.
Sincerely,
SKS Engineers I c.

errel L.
