EXHiB[T uA" <br /> E�UAL EMPLOYti1ENT OPPORTUNITY CLAUSE required by the Illinois Fair Emplayment <br /> Practices <br /> Commission as a material term of all public contracts: <br /> EGZUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNfTY <br /> In the event of the eontractor`s noncompliance witl� any Qrovision 'of this Equal <br /> Ernployment Opportunity Clause, the Illinois Fair Employment Practices Act or the �air <br /> Ernplayment Practioes Commission's Rules and Regulations for Pubiic contracts, the contractor <br /> may be declared nonrespansible and therefore ineiigibie for future contracts or subcontracts <br /> with the State of IAinois or any of its pol'ttical subdivision or municip�I corporations, and the <br /> cants�act may be cancelsd or avoided in whole or in part, and such other sanctions or penatties <br /> may be impose�! or remedies invaked as provic�ed by statute or reguiatian. <br /> During the pe�fiormance of this cantr�ct, the contractor agrses as follaws: <br /> (1) That it will nat discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment <br /> because of raoe, color, re�igion, sex, national �rigin or ancestry; and further that it wil! examine <br /> a11 j�b classifications to determine if minority persons or women are ander-�.rtilized and will taka <br /> approp�iate affirmative action to rectify any such under-utilization. <br /> (2) That, if it hires additional employses in order to perform this contract, or any <br /> po�tion hereof, it will determine the availability (in accordance wi�h th� Cornmission's Ru1�s and <br /> �egulations for Public Cantracts) of minorities and women in the area(s) from which it may <br /> reasanabiy recxuit and it wip hit'e for e�ch job classificahon far which employees are hired in <br /> such a way that minorities and women are not under-utilized. � <br /> (3) That, in all salicitatians or advertisements for employess pfaced by it or on its <br /> behalf, it will sta�e that alf applicants will be aff4rded equal opportunity without dasGrimination <br /> b�cause of race, color, religion, sex, na:ional origin or ancestry. <br /> {4) That it wiil send to each labvr arganizatian or representative af Lvo�cers with <br /> which it t�as or Is bound by a colfective bargaining or other agrsement or undet'standino, a <br /> n�tice ativising such labor organ�zatic�n or representative of the contractor's abligati�ns under <br /> ihe lilinois Fair Employment Pr�Ctic�s Act and the Comm:ssion's Rules and �egulations for <br /> Public Con�ra�s. !f any sud� labor organ�ization or representative faifs or refuses ta coaperate <br /> with the contractor ;n its efforts ta comply ti�rith such Act and Ruies and ReguSations, ths <br /> cantractor will promptly sa notify the Illinois Fair Empfoyment Practices Commission and the <br /> contracting agency and wiU re�ruit ernplayees from other saurces when necessary t� fulfill its <br /> obligations thereunder. <br /> {5) That it will submit reports as required by the Illinois Fair Employment Practices <br /> Cornmission's Rules and Regulations far Pubfic Contracts, fumish all relevant informafion as- <br /> may from time to time be requested by tt�e Cornmission or th� contracting agency, and in a;i <br /> respects comply with the lllinols �air Employment Practices Act and the Commissien's Rules <br /> and Regulati�ns for Public Contracts. <br />
