Over the past two years, the City <br /> began allocating funding for the improvement of brick streets with the ultimate goal of restoring <br /> many of them to a more serviceable condition. <br /> Brick street restoration work generally entails the removal of non-brick patches, the removal of <br /> settled brick areas, and the replacement of failed curb and gutter sections. The streets included in <br /> this year's project are: <br /> • Tuttle Street from Hayworth Street to Lincoln Place <br /> • Lincoln Place/Boyd Road from Tuttle Street to Decatur Street � <br /> • Crea Street from Wood Street to the south end <br /> The project plans and specifications were prepared by Engineering Division staff. The project was <br /> advertised July 5, 2005, and bids were opened on July 22, 2005.
