Bragg,Assistant City Manager <br /> Vickie Buckuigham,Assistant Director of Economic and Urban Development � <br /> SUBJECT: FY OS-06 Annual Action Plan and the FY 2005-2009 Consolidated Plan for <br /> CDBG and HOME Funds <br /> RECOMNIENDATION: Staff recommends adoption of the FY OS-06 Annual Achon Plan and <br /> the FY 2005-2009 Consolidated Plan for CDBG and HOME funds. The U. S. Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development reviewed and approved the City's Annual Action Plan for FY <br /> OS-06 and the City's Consolidated Plan for FY 2005-2009. <br /> BACKGROUND: In accordance with the guidelines set forth by the U. S. Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Neighborhood Redevelopment Division develops a <br /> Consolidated Plan every five years and develops an Annual Action Plan. The Annual Action <br /> Plan describes funding allocations for the upcoming yeaz along with strategic implementation of <br /> priorities identified in the City's five year Consolidated Plan. The City Council reviewed the <br /> funding allocations prior to the adoption of the City's budget. <br /> The FY OS-06 Annual Action Plan ' <br /> and Consolidated Plan has been available for the ublic � <br /> P <br /> review in three locations: Decatur Public Library, Decatur Housing Authority Administrative I <br /> Office, and the Economic and Urban Development Office. The draft plans were also available <br /> for viewing on the City web site during the review and comment period.
