. , <br /> WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> For and in consideration of the undertakings and covenants set out herein, <br /> it is agreed by and between the Owner(s) of the premises described at paragraph �� <br /> 8 hereof, and which person or persons are signatory hereto, ("Owner"), and ' <br /> THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, ("City"), as follows: <br /> 1. The provisions of this Agreement, and the installation, operation and <br /> use of the water service authorized hereby, are expressly made subject to all <br /> applicable provisions of codes, ordinances, rules and regulations of City, and <br /> Owner agrees to comply therewith. . <br /> 2. After completion of the construction of a water main by the City in the <br /> street or roadwa ad'acent to the remises described herein, and u on obtainin <br /> Y J P P g <br /> w <br /> a tapping pernut in the customary manner follo ed by the City for prerruses <br /> within its corporate limits, Owner may tap said water main of City and connect <br /> a water service thereto to furnish residential service only to said premises. <br /> 3. Said tap, connection and service shall be made and installed by a <br /> licensed plumber. <br /> 4. The water furnished by City shall only be used for domestic purposes <br /> and only upon the premises described herein. <br /> 5. At such time as said premises become contiguous to the corporate <br /> limits of City, the then owner of said premises shall, within ninety (90) days <br /> after receiving notice from City thereof, petition to annex the same to the City. <br /> If a petition is not received within the time period, or the property is not <br /> annexed as a result of the petition, water service will be immediately terminated <br /> without further notice. <br /> 6. This agreement shall terminate upon the failure by Owner to comply <br /> with any provision hereof or with any applicable provision of City Code, <br /> ordinances, rules or regulations, or upon the annexation of said premises to the <br /> City, and may be terminated by either party upon six (6) months notice by <br /> certified mail to the City, or to 245 t � in/��cox LaNE <br /> if to the Owner. <br />
