E., City Engineer�vlil <br /> SUBJECT: Water Service Agreement for 2100 West Ash Avenue <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached resolution authorizing <br /> Water Service Agreements between the City of Decatur and the property owner(s) for 2100 <br /> West Ash Avenue. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> In 1993, the City extended a water main on West Ash Avenue. As is typical with these <br /> extensions, residents periodically request permission to tap into these water lines to service <br /> properties which are located outside the City limits. To service properties not currently within <br /> the City limits, a Water Service Agreement must be entered into between the City and the <br /> property owner(s). <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known objections to this <br /> resolution and agreement. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Matt Newell, City Engineer, at 424-2747 <br /> The City Engineer, Matt Newell, will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer <br /> any questions of the Council on this item. <br />
