EaWbit A <br /> scoPE oF woxK <br /> Services to be provided for the Project are as follows: <br /> TELEVISED PIPELINE INSPECTION/SURVEY <br /> 1. A color television camera capable of insertion into 100%humidity conditions will be <br /> used on this project. The camera head is capable of ganning 270°and tilting 360°and the iris, <br /> focus and light source are all remote controlled in order to look directly at problem azeas, as well <br /> as up service connections. The camera will be transported through the lines on a remote <br /> controlled transporter at approa�imately 30 feet per minute, stopping at problem areas to insure <br /> proper logging of data. <br /> 2. The Data Coilected, stored and downloaded to the city mainframe will be in a MPEG <br /> digital farmat applicable to the cunent City of Decatur Engineering Soflware,that will be <br /> used to observe and recard features and conditions that will assist in the evaluation of the <br /> data collected and become a part of the final report. All inspection crews aze PACP <br /> Certified. TSI shall use Granite XP with the ESRI module and the scoring module by <br /> Cues Inc. <br /> 3. Traffic control and protection for the project shall be in accordance with I_D.O.T. <br /> Highway Standard 701606.01. Daytime operations are praposed for the work. <br /> STORNUSANITARY SEWER CLEANING <br /> 1. A high velocity sewer cleaning and vacuum combination truck will be used. Cleaning <br /> shall be accomplished by using a pump capable of delivering 60 GPM at 2500 PSI. All <br /> debris from the cleaning process will be removed with the Vac System. City of Decatur <br /> will supply water and dump site for any solids gathered. <br /> MANH4LE INVESTIGATION <br /> 1. A physicaUvisuai investigation of each manhole using all necessary safety <br /> equipment. The investigation witl include obtaining all data required to evaluate <br /> each manhole for structural integriry,inflow/infittration problems, flow <br /> characteristics and environmental conditions. Including all necessary <br /> dimensions. <br /> SMOKE TESTING <br /> 1. Insertion of an inert iype smoke bomb of three-minute duration into manholss by means <br /> of a 3000-cfm or larger blower. Logging of data including color photos of locations or <br /> smoke observed. <br /> A-1 <br />
