The annexation is scheduled to be approved by City <br /> Council on March 7, 2005. The public hearing regarding the proposed agreement is <br /> scheduled for February 21, 2005. <br />'I BACKGROUND: In September 2004, the City Council approved providing up to <br /> $250,000 in financial assistance to the Farm Progress Show for the installation of water <br /> mains to the site. A condition of the City's financial contribution requires the property to <br /> be located within City limits.
