Mill r, AICP, Senior Planner �-�'!/�� <br /> SUBJECT: Annexation Agreement—Farm Progress Show <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the attached pre- <br /> annexation agreement be approved. The annexation is scheduled to be approved by City <br /> Council on March 7, 2005. The public hearing regarding the proposed agreement is <br /> scheduled for February 21, 2005. <br />'I BACKGROUND: In September 2004, the City Council approved providing up to <br /> $250,000 in financial assistance to the Farm Progress Show for the installation of water <br /> mains to the site. A condition of the City's financial contribution requires the property to <br /> be located within City limits. The attached annexation agreement provides for the <br /> annexation of the premises, zoning requirements and water main construction guidelines. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: N/A. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURC„�S: Representatives of the Farm Progress Show have <br /> reviewed and signed the agreement. <br />' STAFF REFERENCE: Any additional questions may be forwarded to Dane Bragg at <br /> 424-2727 or dbrag�cr,decaturnet.org or Kathy Miller at 424-2786 or <br /> kimiller_,decaturnet.org. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: N/A. <br />
