ANNEXATION AGREEMENT I <br /> This Annexation Agreement made by and between the City of Decatur, Illinois, a �I <br /> municipal corporation ("City"); ARCHER-DANIELS-MIDLAND COMPANY, a Delaware �I <br /> corporation ("ADM") and The Board of Trustees of Community College District No. 537, I <br /> Counties of Macon, Christian, DeWitt, Logan, Moultrie, Piatt, Sangamon and Shelby, �, <br /> and the State of Illinois, commonly known as Richland Community College ("Richland), I <br /> together referred to as "Owners". <br /> WHEREAS, ADM and Richland are the owners of the premises legally described <br /> as: <br /> The Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, the East One-Half of the <br /> Northwest Quarter, the West One-Half of the Northeast Quarter, and the <br /> North One-Half of the Southeast Quarter, all in Section 32, Township 17 <br /> North, Range 3 East of the Third Principal Meridian, Macon County, <br /> Illinois, encompassing a nominal 280 acres, more or less, and hereinafter <br /> referred to as "Premises"; and, <br /> Said Premises are outside of the corporate limits of the City but contiguous <br /> thereto; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Owners desire to annex said Premises to the City, but only upon <br /> certain terms and conditions; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City agrees that said terms and conditions, as contained herein, <br /> are reasonable and acceptable; and, <br /> WHEREAS, hearings have been held and notice given as required by law. <br />
