A. The public water mains and appurtenances as designated by the City shall be <br /> designed, constructed and tested in accordance with City standards and <br /> specifications. <br /> B. A water main extension permit shall be obtained from the City prior to the start of <br /> construction. <br /> C. Easements shall be dedicated for all public water mains for operations and <br /> maintenance and as required by the City for access to the water mains in the <br /> site. The dimensions of the easements will be specified by the City Engineer. <br /> D. The contractor installing the water mains shall pay prevailing wages to its <br /> employees. <br /> E. The Farm Progress City will connect to the City's water system at two locations <br /> to ensure continuous service to the site with: <br /> a. One connection located generally on the south side of Mound Road as it <br /> crosses the City's existing water main in Brush College Road; and <br /> b. b. The second location may be at one of the finro following general locations: <br /> i. Brush College Road where a westerly extension of First Street would <br /> cross the City's existing water main in Brush College Road; or <br /> ii. The intersection of the proposed north-south RCC entrance road with <br /> College <br /> Park Drive on the north side of Richland Community College. The <br /> alignment for this extension would be a westerly extension of First <br /> Street to intersect with the RCC entrance road and then south along <br /> the RCC entrance road to a connection with an existing 8-inch water <br /> main in College Park Drive. <br /> F. Public water mains interior to the site will generally be located as follows: <br /> a. North-south water mains in West Avenue and East Avenue extending from <br /> First Street to Tenth Street. <br /> b. East-west water mains in First Street and Tenth Street extending from <br /> West Avenue to East Avenue. <br /> c. East-west water mains in Fourth Street and Eighth Street extending from <br /> West Avenue to East Avenue unless approved otherwise by the City <br /> Engineer. <br /> G. The public water mains: <br /> a. To the site and in the perimeter roads shall be a minimum of 8-inch <br /> diameter, Class 50 Ductile Iron Pipe. <br /> , b. In Fourth Street and Eighth Street the pipe shall be an 8--inch diameter, <br /> Class 50 Ductile Iron Pipe. <br />
