Perry, Purchasing Supervisor�� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for pick up truck <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Joe Hotze Ford <br /> to furnish four(4) 2005 Ford Ranger 4 x 2 small size pick up trucks. <br /> BACKGROUND: These pick up trucks will be used by the Neighborhood Services and <br /> Inspections Divisions. They will replace two (2) 1997 Chevy S-10 pick ups and two (2) 1997 <br /> GMC Sonomas currently in service. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Fleet Maintenance wrote the specifications and <br /> recommend approval of second low bidder. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Phil Wilhelm, MSC Manager 875-4820, Tom Serfass, Fleet Supervisor <br /> 875-5718. Tom Serfass will be at the city council meeting to answer any questions the council <br /> may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $55,860 from Equipment Replacement Fund. <br />
