(21'n 872-4655 PROCEDURE FOR RETRIEVAL OF VEffiCLE(OR PERSONAL PROPERTY CONTAINED THEREIl� TOWED AND/OR STORED BY PRAIRIELAND AT THE REQUEST OF THE CITY OF DECATUR ACTING THROUGH T'HE DECATUR POLICE DEPARTIV�NT' If your vehicle was towed and/or stored by Prairieland at the request or direction of the Decatur Police Departrnent,you may obtain possession of said vehicle(or personal property contained thezein)by complying with the following provisions: (1) If the current vehicle registration is located in the vehicle,the registered owner should proceed to the premises of PrairiEland with cuirent photographic idenrification (such as a current driver's lic ense), together with payment for all towing and stora e fees. The g amount of payment is set forth by agreement between Prairieland and the City of Decatur,and you are entitled to receive a copy of the appropriate charges for the services provided by Prairieland. (2) If the current vehicle registration is not located in the vehicle,the rcgistered owner should proceed to the premises ofPrairieland with thc current vehicle regish�ation and current photographic identification(such as a current driver's license),togethcr with payment for all towing and storags fees. The amount of paymcnt is set forth by agreement betwecn Prairieland and the City of Decatur,and you are cnritled to receive a copy of the appropriate charges for the services provided by Prairieland. (3) If the registered owner of the vehicle is not avaiIable to retrieve the vehicle,the person authorized by the registered owner may be requircd to provide proof of such authorization,together with photographic identification,and such person may be required to execute a request that i�cludes a swom statement that the person has the authority to obtain immediate possession of the vehicle and an agreement to indemnify Prairieland if a claim is made against prairieland for releasing the vehicle to such person. � (4) If you require some personal property contained within the vehicle,excludin;accessions to the vehicle,you should proceed to the premises of Prairieland with currrnt photographic identifiration(such as a current driver's license), and identify the personal properiy requested,and you may be required to execute a request that incIudes a sworn statement that the person has the authority to obtain immediate possession of the personal property and an agreement to indemnify Prairieland if a claim is made agaia�t Prairieland for releasing the personal property to such person. (5� You should contact Prairieland if you should have any questions about the documentaiion or information required for rclease of the vehicle or personal property contained therein.
