Taylor Avenue SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached resolution authorizing Water Service Agreements between the City of Decatur and property owners for 1505 Heritage Drive, 2722 Forest Crest Drive and 3444 N. Taylor Avenue. BACKGROUND: In the spring of 2002 the City extended a 12 inch water main down Forest Crest Drive and in 2004 extended the main on Heritage Drive to complete a water main interconnection on the south side of the City between Route 48 and Route 51. In 1979, the City extended a water main down North Taylor Avenue south of Mound Road. As is typical with these extensions, residents periodically request permission to tap into these water lines to service properties which are located outside the City limits. To service properties outside of the City limits, a Water Service Agreement must be entered into between the City and the property owners. POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known objections to this resolution and agreement.
