The notice included detailed information on the <br /> proposed service reductions, announced public meetings on these proposals, and invited <br /> public questions and comments; <br /> • Copies of this notice were faxed to all local media news desks; <br /> • 11"x 17"posters were printed giving detailed information on the proposed changes, i, <br /> announcing public meetings on these proposals, and inviting public questions and '� <br /> comments; ' <br /> • These posters were placed in all of the DPTS buses and paratransit vans, in public areas <br /> of the Transit System's buildings, and at Richland Community College; <br /> • Two public forums were held at times and at a place convenient to Transit System users; <br /> • The advertisement and posters invited written or oral questions and comments from the <br /> public by telephone,by fax machine, by mail, or by e-mail; and <br /> • Posters will be distributed, as above, to announce the decision of City Council on these <br /> proposed changes, at least 13 days before these changes go into effect. <br /> - 4 - <br />
