Perry, Purchasing Supervisor�,� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for small size pick up truck <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Northtown <br /> Ford, Inc. to furnish one (1) 2004 Ford Ranger small size pick up truck. <br /> BACKGROUND: This pick up truck will replace a 1997 Chevrolet 5-10 pick up truck <br /> currently in use. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Inspections requested the truck replacement and Fleet <br /> Maintenance wrote the specifications. Both recommend approval of bid. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Phil Wilhelm, MSC Manager 875-4820, Deborah M. Perry, <br /> Purchasing Supervisor 424-2762. Phil Wilhelm will be at the City Council meeting to answer <br /> any questions the council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $13,995 from Equipment Replacement Fund. <br />
