Perry, Purchasing Supervisor� <br /> SUBJECT: Bids for Fork Truck <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends awarding contract to Wiese Planning <br /> and Engineering to furnish one (1) 2004 P3500 LP Caterpillar fork truck. <br /> BACKGROUND: Replaces a 1947 Clark Yardman currently in service. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Fork truck was requested by Water Production and they <br /> wrote the bid specifications. They recommend approval of bid. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: John Smith, Assistant City Manager/P.S. 424-2834 will be at the <br /> council meeting to answer any questions the council may have about this purchase. <br /> BUDGET: $16,249 from Water Fund. <br />
