RESOLUTION NO. R2004-07 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZI1vG AGREEMENT <br /> STATE OF ILLINOIS <br /> PRAIRIE AVENUE & 22ND STREET TRAFFIC SIGNALS IMPROVEMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur has entered into Agreement JN-504002 with the State of <br /> Illinois for the improvements of traffic signals at the intersection of East Prairie Avenue and North <br /> 22nd Street in the City, known as State Section(56CS)N; and <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned Agreement, it is necessary for the <br /> City of Decatur to appropriate sufficient funds to pay its share of the cost of said improvements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Seven thousand nine hundred fifty <br /> and 00/00 Dollars ($7,950.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary, from any money now or <br /> hereinafter allotted to the City to pay for its share of the cost of this improvement as described in <br /> the Agreement. <br /> Section 2. That upon award of the contract for this improvement, the City will pay the <br /> Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois in a lump sum from any funds allotted to the <br /> City, an amount equal to 95% of its obligation incurred under this Agreement, and will pay to the <br /> said Department the remainder of the obligation (including any non-participation costs of FAP <br /> projects) in a lump sum, upon completion of the project based upon final costs. <br /> Section 3.
