GRANT OF , PERMANENT EASEMENT ' The Grantor, the City of Decatur, a municipal corporation, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Dollars and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, conveys and warrants to the Decatur Park District, a municipal corporation, its successors ' and assigns, a right-of-way easement for the purpose of constructing, maintaining, repairing, operating and replacing a river observation platform, said easements as shown on the attached plat, together with all necessary equipment and facilities incident to the constructing, maintaining, repairing, operating and replacing said river observation platform, on, over and across the following described property: That part of the South half of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 22, township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M. lying north of the Southerly Bank of the Sangamon River and West of the right of way line of the Illinois Central Railroad, Excepting therefrom that property deeded to the Decatur Park District as recorded in Book 670, page 230 and Book 677 on page 551 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macan County, Illinois with a PERMANENT EASEMENT to Decatur Park District and the public, said permanent easement to be for ingress and egress for the purpose of access to the said river observation platform.
