This code, along with deletions and amendments, would be added as Chapter 67 I <br /> of City Code. <br /> BACKGROUND: The City has never adopted a residential code, using instead the BO('A <br /> Building Code as it's only model code which actually is written more for commercial buildings <br /> We will retain that code in Chapter 67 and then will be able to refer to the 2000 residential code <br /> which is strictly for one and two family dwellings. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: None we are aware of. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: If Council members have questions they may contact Randy Johner, <br /> 424-2791, rcjohner@decaturnet.org <br /> BUDGET/TIME <br /> IMPLICATIONS: We would like to have this code in force by January 1, 2004. <br />
