A motion to table should name a date certain and should not then result in <br /> premature discussion of that agenda item. <br /> 5. City Council Discussion Be prepared. Read material. The Mayor is always last to <br /> vote in the rotation. <br /> • A Councilmember who wishes to abstain from a vote on an agenda item shall explain <br /> his/her reasons for abstention. <br /> 6. _ Reauests for Follow-u�: Councilmembers may seek follow-up information or other action <br /> from the staff.
