R2003-124 <br /> RESOLUTION SCHEDULING PUBLIC HEARING <br /> FOR PROPOSED ANNEXATION AGREEMENT <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That, pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11-15.1-1 et seq., a public hearing is hereby <br /> scheduled upon a proposed annexation agreement between the City of Decatur and the owners of <br /> the property descn-bed below, said public hearing being scheduled before this Council on October <br /> 6, 2003, at 5:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers: <br /> The East Half (E 1/2) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section 29, <br /> Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the Third Principal Meridian except that part <br /> taken by the State of Illinois for I-72 and except the following described property: <br /> Beginning at a concrete monument at the Northwest corner of the Northeast <br /> Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section 29, Township 17 <br /> North, Range 2 East of the Third Principle Meridian; thence North 87°58'S0" East <br /> (Assumed Bearing) 290.41 feet along the North line of said Section 29 to the <br /> Northwest corner of Bob Cooper's Subdivision as per plat recorded in Book 1270, <br /> Page 61 in the Of�ice of the Recorder of Deeds, Macon County, Illinois; thence <br />� South 0°14'47" East 451.81 feet along the West line of said Bob Cooper's Subdivi- <br /> sion to a point; thence South 88°00'33" West 1292.76 feet to the West line of said <br /> Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence North 0°03'18" East, 451.25 <br /> feet along the said West line to the point ofbeginning, containing 13.38 acres more <br /> or less; situated in Macon County, Illinois; AND <br /> A part of Bob Cooper's Subdivision as per plat recorded in Book 1270, Page 61 in <br /> the Of�ce of the Recorder of Deeds, Macon County, Illinois; more particularly <br /> described as follows, <br />
