RESOLUTION NO. R2003-105 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLIC DISPLAYS TO HONOR <br /> UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause to <br /> be placed on the public rights-of-way and other public grounds such signs and other <br /> acknowledgments, including but not limited to yellow nbbons, as to said officer appear proper <br /> and appropriate to honor those Americans who are members of the United States Armed Forces <br /> and are serving their country in locations of hostilities with a foreign country or terrorist <br /> organization. It is the intention of this Council that these Americans be honored for their bravery <br /> and selfless actions in the defense of those liberties which all Americans hold dear. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 21 st day of July, 2003. <br /> � <br /> �� ����, <br /> Paul Osborne, Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> � <br /> �,t�� . <br /> Celeste F.
