Love, eighborhood Pro s anager ��� <br /> SUBJECT: FY03-04 Annual Action Plan for CDBG and HOME Funds <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends adoption of the FY03-04 Annual Action Plan for CDBG and HOME funds. <br /> The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development reviewed and approved the City's <br /> Annual Action Plan for FY03-04. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> In accordance with the guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development (HUD), Neighborhood Redevelopment Division develops an Annual Action Plan <br /> describing funding allocations for the upcoming year along with strategic implementation of <br /> priorities identified in the City's five year Consolidated Plan. The sub recipient public service <br /> gants approved by the City Council in February, 2002 are one part of the Annual Action Plan. <br /> The Plan was submitted to HLTD in mid-March. Approval was received on May 28, 2003 after <br /> minor revisions.
