EXHIBIT"A" EQUAL EMPLOYti1ENT OPPORTUNITY CLAUSE required by the illinois Fair Employment Practices Commission as a material term of all pub}i� contracts: �QURL EIvrPLOYCv{ENT OPPORTUNiTY In the Event of the contractor's noncompliance with any provision 'of this �quai Ernployment Opportunity Clause, tf,e lllinois Fair Employment Practices Act or th� Fair Ernployment Practicss Commission's Ruies and Regulations far Public cantracts, the cantractor may be declared nonresponsible and therefore ineligible for future contraCts or subcontracts with the State of 111inois or any of its politica! subdivision or muni�ipal corporations, and the contra�t may be canceled or avvided in whole �r in part, and such other sanctions or penalties may be imposed or remedies invaked as pravided by statute or reguiation. During �he performance af this contract, the contractnr agrees as follows: (1} That it will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment becaus� of race, color, r�ligion, sex, national origin or ancestry; and further that it wi!! examine a11 j�b classifications to determine if minority persons or women are under-utilized and will take appropriate affirmative action to rectify any such under-utilization. {2) That, if it hires additional ernplvyees in order to perform this contract, or any portian hereaf, it will decermine the availability tin accordance wi�h the Commission's Rules and Regulati�ns for Public Contracts} of minari�ies and women in the area(s} from which it may reasanabfy recruit and it will hir� For each job classificafiiort for which employees are hired in such � way that minorities and women are no1 under-utilized. (3) That, in aA solicitatians or ad�ertisements for employess placed by it ar on its behalf, it will state that all applicants will be afforded equal opportunity without discrimination b�cause of race, color, religion, sex, na;ional origin or ancastry. (4) That it wiU send to each labor o�ganizatian or representative of �vorl�ers �vith wnich it has or Is bound by a colfective bargaining or other agreement or understanding, a notice advising such labor organization ar representative of the contractor's obliga�i�ns under the Illinois Fair Employment Practices Acf and the Commission's Rules and Regulations for Public Contracts. If any such labor organization o� representative fails or refuses to cooperate with fhe contractor in its �ffarts to comply tivith such Act and Ruies and Regu!akians, the contractor wil( promptly sa noiify the lllinois Fair Employment Practices Commission and the con�racting agency an� wiN recruit employees from ather sources when necessary to fulfil[ its obligations thereunder.
