, Enclosure (1) <br /> 1 <br /> TECHNICAL PAYROLL COSTS TIMES A FACTOR <br /> PLUS DIRECT REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES <br /> TIMES A MULTIPLIER <br /> This enclosure has been prepared to define the method of compensation for services based upon TECHNICAL <br /> PAYROLL COSTS T/MES A FACTOR PLUS DIRECT REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES TIMES A MULTIPLIER. <br /> Compensation for all employees working on the project shall be based upon Technical Payroll Costs Times a <br /> Factor. Direct reimbursable expenses will be invoiced on costs times a muttiplier basis. <br /> Daily time and reimbursable expense records are maintained for all manhours and reimbursable expenses <br /> committed to the project. Invoices are submitted monthly for the work completed in the previous month; payment <br /> is due within thirty days from date of invoice. <br /> Technical Payroll Cosfs,Factor, and Direct Reimbursable Expenses are defined as follows: <br /> DEFINITIONS OF STANDARD TERMS AND EXPLANATORY NOTES <br /> TECHNICAL PAYROLL COSTS <br /> The Technical Payroll Costs used as a basis for payment shall mean the actual salaries and wages paid to <br /> employees engaged directly on the project, plus the cost of fringe benefits including, but not limited to: Social <br /> Security contributions; unemployment, excise and payroll taxes; workmen's compensation; health and retirement <br /> benefits; and sick leave, vacation and holiday pay applicable thereto. <br /> In order to calculate Technical Payrol! Costs used as a basis for payment, the cost of fringe benefits that are <br /> added to salaries and wages paid to employees is 35 percent of the cost of said salaries and wages. <br /> BWC's overtime salary rates for all employees are 1-1/2 times the straight time salary rates. <br /> TECHNICAL PAYROLL COST FACTOR � <br /> The Technica! Payro!! Cost Factor provides for Engrnee�s General Overhead Costs and Profrt and is applied to <br /> Technical Payroll Costs. The present Technica!Payroll Cost Factor is 2.11_ <br /> A factor of 125 shall be applicable to the premium portion of overtime salary rates. <br /> DIREC'T REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES <br /> A listing of Direct Reimbursab/e Expenses not included in General Overhead is enclosed as AnACHnnEHT A. <br /> MULTIPLIER <br /> A Multiplier of 1.10 is used to provide fior handling costs of Direct Reimbursable Expenses. <br /> 210-'l3A/Rev.10/00 Page 1 of 1 <br />
