Among the <br /> first areas proposed for treatment are the Shadow Lane and Kaydon Drive areas which have both <br /> experienced significant root intrusion problems. The herbicide application process comes with a <br /> manufacturer's guarantee to keep the treated sewers free of roots for two years. <br /> The project specifications were prepared by the Engineering Division. The project was <br /> advertised on Apri19, 2003 and bids were received on Apri125, 2003.
